Final results of the Instrumental Competition 2021 will be posted on the competition website COLIBRIFESTIVAL.ORG by the end of November 2021.

Non-refundable Registration fee is $50 for the performance of two works.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
 
1. Registration Fee must be paid via PayPal at

2. Video materials must be published on YouTube as “Public” or “Unlisted”. A link to video materials must be provided through the Registration Form along with Registration Fee.
3. By sending a link to a video, the participant in the competition automatically confirms his consent to the use of the material by third parties (organizers, jury members, other participants in the competition), as well as for posting the competition work on the organizer’s website.

VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Each contestant must submit two (2) separate music compositions not to exceed 8 minutes in length combined.

1. Video recordings of live performances recorded in any environment (concert hall, music class, or at home), on any device, including mobile phones will be accepted.

2. The recording should be uninterrupted from start to finish. Entries with any traces of editing (gluing frames, overlapping audio tracks, etc.) will be disqualified. Total time of the overall performance shouldn’t exceed 8 minutes, EXCLUDING announcement time.

3. Each video should contain an introduction and an entire single piece (a music composition/song/dance).

3.a  At the beginning of each video recording, the contestant must introduce her/himself and the composition to be performed by stating loudly the following information:

  • First and last name;
  • Age;
  • Date of the recording;
  • Composition title and author

The introduction time will not count toward the time limit for the video recording specified below.

3.b Mounting-gluing of the recording between the announcement and performance is not allowed.

4. Videos should be recorded so that the judges can see the performer in full height.

5. Poor quality video recordings with a resolution of less than 720 pixels are not allowed and will be disqualified from the competition.

6. Contestants must be dressed in a stage dress.

The Competition prize fund may vary between $1000 and $2000 for ALL age categories, and will be distributed proportionally between the Grand Prize winners and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age group.
The Jury has the right to establish a special incentive prize with the right to participate in the XIV Instrumental Competition “Colibri” 2022 for free.

Final results of the Instrumental Competition 2020 will be posted on the Competition web site by the end of November 2021. The Certificates and cash prizes will be sent to winners by December 1, 2021.
